Upon returning to the Netherlands, we immediately started testing the new service that was on paper. The acquaintance sent us his shopping list, we bought these products VAT-free, packed them seaworthy and added them to our container to Curacao.

After the container arrived and was released by customs in Curacao, the products were unpacked. This acquaintance was so happy that after a few days a new shopping list arrived that was not only his but also that of a large part of his circle of friends! So the shop and ship service was born.

After many VAT-free purchases and shipments of European products for people on Curacao consisting of furniture from Ikea, clothes at H&M and electronics from Mediamarkt, among others, the first requests from Aruba and Bonaire were a fact!

The first shipment to Suriname is a success. A large order full of VAT free furniture from Ikea for a new apartment complex arrived in Paramaribo. Yeah, also in Suriname they know us now.

Our 200^e order is a fact. The pallet mixed with European VAT free purchased products from Blokker and the Mediamarkt has arrived in Curaçao.

Our office right in the center of Rotterdam is completely finished. We can be found less than 100 meters from Rotterdam CS.

Our 1^e own 40ft container shipped to Curacao full of VAT-free European products and food purchased from Ikea, H&M, Blokker, Hema, Primark, Praxis, Action, Gamma, Zalando, CoolBlue, Bart Smit, Media Markt, Leenbakker, Makro and many other European/Dutch (web)stores. On to the next one.

We are also going fast on Social media. The first 1000 likes on our Facebook page are a fact. We are very happy with this because it gives us direct feedback on our service and even more people know the way to our service.

Our location was flooded with packages, pallets and even containers full of VAT-free purchased products that were all shipped the to the ABC Islands and Suriname. At least our team knows what it is like to play Santa Claus and we hope we get to do it again next year.

A good start to a New Year. The owners of several Airbnb apartments had a request for several destinations (Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao) to furnish their apartments with VAT free European hip furniture, kitchens and new electronics. By getting these owners together and all of them placing an order at once it saved a lot in shipping costs and in our hours. So we are fans of these efficient solutions!

A new warehouse and office especially for the Shop and Ship service are completely finished. Everything has been moved, checked and the first European products purchased VAT-free are filling the warehouse. We are now a lot more efficient in both cost and time. The warehouse can be found at Vareseweg 123 in Rotterdam.

The new design of our logo is ready. We have also made a small name change. Our service called Shop and Ship is now called Shop plus Ship. Why? It tells much better what exactly we do and want to achieve.
